14 MONTH UNDERGROUND : review of New-Astropolis life
It’s today the “anniversary” of the red glow’s day. At this point of time, fourteen months ago, people of Astropolis East, West and Center District woke up and discovered SÓl, at least the first mysterious red rays.
Since that day, a lot of questions have been asked, a lot of lies have been pronounced and A LOT OF PEOPLE DIED.
One of the most important question is : did the 5 governments knew that SÓl was coming ?
Obviously : Yes !
Since the people of Astropolis North were sacrificed in what was called “an atomic incident” (remember Biddle’s report about that), the wall was built to isolate them from the rest of our world.
They died, alone and terrified as our life continued in ignorance.
OUR GOVERNMENT FAILED TO SAVE THEM ! WORSE: THEY CONDAMNED THEM ! AND IT’S OUR TURN NOW !
The building of the Underground city took 30 years and was made in the most complete secret. The goal was to be ready to welcome Astropolis’s elite when SÓl would come : Major firms executives, politicians, scientists, engineers, law men, scholars… the best of us…REST COULD DIE OR SERVE AS SLAVES FOR THIS NEW WORLD.
And here we are now : a new generation of living-dead.
What was our world is dead and gone. SÓl burnt it all.
How long will it last ? No one knows.
‘till that, we live now underground, in the subway stations and all the existing underground networks. Some are more lucky than others, some rule, the other suffer. And all this little world dream about the past, when Astropolis was alive.
